Write for Outside In Print

Outside In Print is opening a small contributor lane for original essays and reported articles that reward attention, follow the evidence, and give readers something worth returning to.

What Fits

We are interested in clear, independent work about public life, institutions, business, risk, culture, technology, and the consequences of how systems are designed. A strong submission makes a specific argument, distinguishes evidence from judgment, and respects uncertainty where it exists.

We are not looking for sponsored posts, search-engine filler, press releases, or partisan talking points.

Start With a Pitch

Send a short introduction with:

  • the working title;
  • the question or argument in two or three sentences;
  • a draft or a brief outline; and
  • a short note about who you are and why you want to write it.

Email support@outsideinprint.org with the subject line Contributor pitch for Outside In Print.

Every accepted piece is edited for clarity, sourcing, and fit with the imprint. Sending a pitch does not guarantee publication.
