My Friend, The Universe
Remember that You are but a Part of the Whole, and You shall be content with Everything that happens.
What story do you tell yourself about the world? Either all is random chaos or infinitely intelligent design. Life is a self-fulfilling prophecy no matter what you believe.
I live in a friendly universe that always has my back.
Speak this to yourself and see how it colors your life ~
“I live in a Friendly Universe that ALWAYS has my back.”
Now say it again, and really say it this time if you know what I mean ~
“I LIVE IN A FRIENDLY UNIVERSE THAT ALWAYS HAS MY BACK!”
Go for a long walk, and leave your phone at home. Say hello to every dog you meet on your way. Remind yourself that you are safe and loved. COMMAND your subconscious to believe in the Goodness of Life.
Look for it, and you’ll see it in the most ordinary of places ~ a phone call from an old friend, a smiling stranger, a friendly nod.
The Universe takes care of us in ways we don’t always understand. Sometimes it closes a door, and at other times it throws them wide open. We are so limited, so small compared to the infinite possibilities out there ~ so accept everything that happens to you with grace and kindness.
Cut yourself some slack and know that our greatest mistakes - what we consider to be our biggest weaknesses - are transmuted like alchemy into the most amazing opportunities and our greatest advantages.
Life is funny, isn’t it? Think of the Universe as a dear old friend. Imagine all of existence rising up to meet you in your time of need and KNOW that everything will play out just as it is meant to… if you can only allow it.
The universe ALWAYS has my back. I live in a wonderful, friendly place. Everything is going to work out for me.
Keep going.
If I believe the world is against me, every silence becomes rejection. Every delay becomes punishment. While I’m gnashing my teeth and complaining, I miss the beauty that is manifest all around me.
If I grasp at the small visions, the things that I think I want ~ I miss the grand opportunities for adventure that providence is just daring me to take.
If I believe the world is friendly, I stay open. I notice the invitations, the warnings, the second chances, and the quiet, bold instruction:
KEEP GOING. ACT NOW. DO NOT DELAY. ADJUST AS YOU GO.
It is okay to make mistakes! Be kind to yourself, and give yourself grace.
Above all else, DO NOT BE AFRAID.
Strike out on the road. Heed the call to adventure! Take that first step. You do not need to see the entire path laid out before you to BELIEVE that you will end up where you are supposed to be. Trust your friend, The Universe, and Go Boldly.
The universe has my back ~ and I have my own back, too.
Move forward with courage. Keep your eyes open. Say thank you when help arrives ~ and BE KIND TO YOURSELF along the way.
