Terms of Sale and Studio Services

Terms governing direct book orders, EPUB delivery, reader support, and Studio inquiries and services through Outside In Print.
These terms govern direct purchases, reader-support payments, and Studio inquiries and services through Outside In Print. The public imprint is Outside In Print; the business operating the checkout, fulfilling direct orders, and providing accepted Studio services is Outside In Print LLC.
Checkout and order acceptance
Square hosts checkout, processes payment, and provides transaction receipts. A submitted checkout is an offer to transact. An order is accepted when payment is completed and Outside In Print confirms the item is available for fulfillment. Outside In Print may cancel and refund an order affected by a pricing error, unavailable file, suspected fraud, geographic restriction, or technical failure.
All displayed prices are in U.S. dollars. The first storefront release offers direct EPUBs and reader support only. It does not offer paperbacks, shipping, web pickup, preorders, gift cards, or international book orders.
Square calculates the amount shown at checkout from the configured product and support rules.
EPUBs
An EPUB purchase grants a personal-use license, not ownership of the copyright. Delivery, download limits, permitted personal backups, restrictions, and refund rules are stated in the EPUB License and Refund Policy .
Reader support
Reader support does not include a book, membership benefit, editorial influence, or special access. Monthly support is charged when started and then renews each month until canceled. Cancellation and refund rules are stated in the Reader Support Cancellation and Refund Terms .
Studio inquiries and services
Preparing or sending a Studio inquiry email is not acceptance of a project and does not create a client relationship. A production slot is reserved only after the written scope is approved and the deposit is paid.
The separate written scope or service agreement governs the accepted project’s scope, schedule, rights, revisions, and payment terms. Public Studio pricing describes the fixed base sprint; additional interviews, research, source volume, revisions, or other added work are quoted separately.
Do not send confidential, classified, privileged, export-controlled, or restricted source material before Outside In Print requests it and approves a transfer method.
Refunds and disputes
Contact support@outsideinprint.org before opening a payment dispute so Outside In Print can investigate an order, delivery problem, duplicate charge, cancellation, or refund request. This request does not limit any rights available under applicable law or through your card issuer.
Refunds return to the original payment method. Processing time after approval depends on Square, the card network, and the financial institution.
Site and content
Website text, covers, books, EPUB files, graphics, and other original material remain protected by their applicable copyrights and licenses. You may not misuse the checkout, interfere with the delivery service, evade download controls, scrape customer-facing forms, or use the site for unlawful activity.
The site and products are provided subject to applicable law. Outside In Print does not promise uninterrupted website or checkout availability. Nothing on the site is individualized legal, tax, financial, or professional advice.
Changes and governing law
The terms presented at checkout govern that transaction. Future changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date. These terms are governed by Florida law, without limiting consumer protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
